PraySeattle is a movement in the city that seeks to transform the heart of the city through prayer. Made up of a collaborative outworking of believers in Seattle, we’re committed to seeing and outpouring of intercession in our city, especially during the 40 Days of Lent.

///LAUNCH INTO LENT///
We invite you to join us on February 18th, 2024 at Sideris Church for a kick off event, a night of prayer and music as we turn out hearts toward Jesus and worship Him together, believing for healing and wholeness for our city. See you there!

///LENTEN PRAYER///
40 days of citywide prayer
Join the collective movement of churches, organizations, and individuals all across Seattle united in 40 days of Prayer for our city. We all have one desire, to see a ripple of renewal and revival in Seattle and beyond.

How to Participate

Join 40 days of Prayer

Through a collaborative grassroots movement, thousands of believers across our city are committing to pray for Seattle, its people, churches, government, and institutions during the 40 Days of Lent leading up to Easter Sunday.

Lent is traditionally a time of prayer and fasting as Christian’s look to the living hope found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join others across the city to pray for Jesus to be exalted, the church to be united, our city to be transformed, and individuals to have a life-changing encounter with Christ.

///PRAYER BOOK///
6 THEMES Church/Youth + Families/Government + Civil Authorities / Business Community / Education System / Lost + Hurting.
With your 40 Day Prayer Book, each week you are invited to join praying together through a different theme rooted in scripture. You can use these themes to guide your own prayer time, as a church, small group, family, or individual. There is also a space to write down some of your own inspired thoughts as you pray.

///6 PRAYER ROOMS///
Each week there will be an open prayer room in a different part of the city. This is an opportunity for you or a group to come and pray in a sacred space. These rooms will be hosted by churches, nonprofits and public venues. They represent the diverse locales of our city. For the address and open hours of each prayer room.

///PRAYER RHYTHMS///
There are numerous prayer opportunities happening all throughout the city, hosted by various churches and ministries. Feel free to participate in any of these rhythms throughout the season of Lent.

TRYPRAYING.
This year, in the spirit of collective partnership, we’re joining TryPraying in encouraging believers in Seattle to use the TryPraying tool — a resource to point people towards God and by posing the question: ‘“Why don’t you try praying for a week and see what happens in your life?”
