40 DAYS OF PRAYER

“I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert
into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.”
– Isaiah 41:18

How to Participate

In a grassroots movement, hundreds if not thousands are preparing to pray for Seattle, its people, churches, government and institutions during 40 Days of Lent, starting February 26th and ending on Easter Sunday, 2023. We invite you to join believers across the city to pray for Jesus to be exalted, the church to be united, and our city to be transformed. Here’s how you can participate:

6 Themes – Each week we will be praying together through a different theme rooted in scripture. Prayer cards have been printed and are available to churches, organizations and individuals. The cards are also available for download from this site. If you want to receive hard copies of the cards for you or your community, e-mail us: info@prayseattle.org

6 Prayer Rooms – Each week there will be an open prayer room in a different part of the city. This is an opportunity for you or a group to come and pray in a sacred space. These rooms will be hosted by churches, non-profits and public venues. They represent the diverse locales of our city. For the address and open hours of each prayer room, see below.

Additional Prayer Rhythms – There are numerous prayer opportunities happening all throughout the city. This will be a growing category, but these additional rhythms are open to all and will continue well past the 40 days of prayer.

If you have ANY questions or need more info, please reach out to us at: info@prayseattle.org
