This call is for pastors and ministry leaders, but also for anyone else who wants to learn how to get involved. We’ll discuss our worship kick-off night, prayer rooms and the prayer book. You’ll here stories from pastors about their experiences and how their churches have engaged. You’ll have the opportunity to order prayer books and be the first to hear about the theme for 2027.

40 Days of Citywide Prayer 2027: For the City, With the City
For five years, God has been bringing the Church across Seattle together in prayer. Hundreds of churches and thousands of people from across Seattle and beyond have joined in this shared journey, believing that prayer matters for the flourishing and restoration of our city.
In 2027, as we enter our fifth year of 40 Days of Citywide Prayer during Lent, we sense God extending a deep invitation to pray boldly for Seattle.
Across the city, churches from different denominations and traditions will host Prayer Rooms and Prayer Walks, creating spaces for people to gather, worship God, and pray together throughout the 40 Days. This is the local church with the local church—not separated by denomination or tradition, but united in our love for Jesus and our city.
Inspired by Isaiah 58:6–12, we are praying for a city made whole, for broken places to be restored, and for our communities to flourish. We believe God is inviting us to seek Him together, to listen, to intercede, and to join His heart for Seattle's renewal and restoration.
As we prepare for 40 Days of Citywide Prayer 2027, join us for an upcoming Zoom gathering. Hear stories from pastors and ministry leaders, discover what God has been doing through prayer across our city, and be inspired by what becomes possible when the Church unites in prayer, believing that God can do far more than we could ask or imagine.
As we journey and make pilgrimage through Lent together, pocket prayer books will be available for everyone participating, helping us stay rooted in prayer as we seek God for our city.

WHAT IS PRAY SEATTLE?
Lent is traditionally a time of prayer and fasting as Christian’s look to the living hope found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. During this season, Pray Seattle helps link thousands of people across the city to unite in prayer for our people, churches, kids, businesses and more. Now in our fourth year, Pray Seattle has become a network of relationships across denominations and organizations committed to each other and to seeking our God in prayer.
We invite you to join others across the city to pray for Jesus to be exalted, the church to be united, our city to be transformed, and individuals to have a life-changing encounter with Christ.
